Now, let us look at few more tips on the same:

•    The dull fonts
Do you think that ‘courier’ font is good for resumes just because it relates with the typewriter style font? Actually, several people make bad decisions by thinking this and picking this font style for their resumes. As per the experts, if you use Arial font, then that is still a safer decision.

•    Is your fax number on the resume?
Please do not prove yourself as a typical out dated candidate by including a fax number. Mobile phones are sufficient. It has been seen that there are still several people who include fax numbers in the resume. There isn’t any need to do so. So, do not do the unessential things.

•    Email Ids on resumes:
Well, there have been resumes submitted to the renowned companies with no email ids but fax numbers. This is like you are yourself giving a reason to the hiring manager to laugh on you. Make sure that you have mentioned the email-id at the top of the resume before you send cv to companies.

•    Mentioning the street address:
Have you mentioned your email id and personal mobile number? If yes, then it is sufficient and therefore there is no need to include the street address. The interviewer would give you a call or would contact you via email only. This is also important for the sake of personal safety.

So, these are few tips which will make you avoid presenting an old fashioned resume. All the best and use these tips to make your CV presentation perfect.
